The Barcelona summer sun set the scene for hundreds of thousands of festival-goers last week at the annual Sonar festival. Now breathing its 19th year of advanced music and multimedia art, Sonar has established itself as a focal point of artists, musicians, and industry professionals from all around the world who gather in Barcelona for the festival and the plethora of special events and parties that take place in celebration of the event. This year’s festival lineup included over 150 artists, DJs, performers, and live acts such as New Order, The Roots, Fatboy Slim, Deadmau5, Richie Hawtin, Modeselektor and many more.

Sonar live streamed some of the performances on their YouTube channel during the festival and has some of the videos available to rewatch here.
However, I stumbled across the YouTube channel of one attendee who captured some STUNNING high-definition video and audio of many sets including full sets from a few DJs. Check out his YouTube channel here (I can’t say I expect these videos to remain online for long).
